FILM INSTALLATION & PERFORMANCE
A kind of procession unfolds within a harsh, mineral landscape, almost abstract in nature. Two bodies inscribe themselves within it. They do not dominate the space; they move through it. Muted tones, vertical lines, gliding movements: something circulates between the valleys and the ridges.
Their trajectories trace unstable figures. Between attraction and tension, the gestures evoke possible rituals without ever fully settling into them. What unfolds oscillates between ceremony and drift, between appearance and disappearance. The film borrows from the codes of wildlife documentary and initiatory narrative, yet displaces them. It does not reveal; it unsettles. The sonic layers thicken perception and create a floating, almost suspended space.
Horsetail Knickerbelt functions as a porous fiction — a form that maintains a distance while constantly stretching and tightening the links between what is seen and what is projected.
